I can't believe Henry will be here (most likely) in less than 10 weeks!! Time has flown! But seriously, we have really nothing prepared. We got a new swing which I was desperate for and a crib sheet. He has a couple outfits, but his room is still set up like Eloise's nursery. We did paint it tan, but have nothing else . I need to get on it.
I have officially entered the uncomfortable stage. I had the stomach flu (again) on Friday and ended up in the hospital and then had Severe heartburn. It was awful. I'm finally feeling better but now I am getting pregnant uncomfortable. I can't do as much as I want, I am out of breath easily, I have low iron which I take a pill for, but I still get winded easily. I just started to notice my rings are getting tighter and clothes aren't fitting the same. The sciatica pain is off and on. I used to feel like a cute pregnant lady. Now I just feel big! Lol! It's getting harder to sleep comfortably and breathing is becoming harder. Ugh I can't believe we are at this stage already. I also slipped on ice and now my knee and ankle are killing me. All I want to do is sleep lately, I know fun times. But for me, I am trying to get as much sleep in as possible NOW because I know what the future holds. Also, I'm really tired.
Anyway, everyone keeps saying they think this baby is going to be early. I used to think he was gonna be late but for some weird reason April 13th is sticking out to me. I have no idea but I feel like he is going to come on April 13th. I used to say April 28th but I have offically changed to April 13th.
Besides that I am just counting down the days until SPRING BREAK!!!
Eloise updates:
- had croup again after my birthday but has recovered nicely
- she is very much into playing pretend with her "friends" which are her little figurines. They have conversations with each other and it's hilarious!
- big girl bed sleeping is going well. Lately she isn't waking up at all until morning (which is earlier than usual but better than middle of the night wake ups.)
-She still LOVES mickey and minnie and the Little Einsteins but is mostly into the princesses. Aurora is her absolute favorite and everything has princess and castles in her world.
-She has been getting into Doc McStuffins and my mother bought her a couple toys so now she will announce randomly that she wants to be a doctor. I better start saving now.
-She has been saying some really cute things lately.
We were at Lowes picking out a curtain rod for Henry's Room....
Julian: "Do you like coming to Lowes with mommy and daddy?"
Eloise: "No, I like tutus"
We were in the car on the way out to dinner and someone stopped short in front of Julian so he beeped the horn loudly.
Eloise: "Daddy, no beeping. It makes me mervous" (her word for nervous. How she knows what this means I have no idea).
If Julian and I are talking or if I am driving and she is in the backseat and she has something to say she will always start with, "Excuse me Mommy...." or "Excuse me Daddy..." and tell us what it is that she needs to tell us.
Whenever it is time for bed, she will negotiate with 1 more show, or 1 more minute, or 1 more movie. Everything is 1 more. She is a good negotiator.
I was packing up a bag of toys to bring to Nan's house because my mother keeps buying all this random stuff and it has taken over my house. Eloise complains that Nan needs 'big girl toys' so I was making a big bag filled with toys that can go to Nan's house to stay. I told Eloise we needed to fill it with toys for Nan.... But, she then told me, "Aurora and Cinderella will miss me"
If I say "I love you Eloise" she will answer with "I love you too mommy"
Julian was being funny and farting in Duke's face and Eloise got all upset and said "NO NO NO DADDY!! NO TOOTING ON DUKE" It was one of the most hilarious things EVER.
